ABOUT THE POSITIONS
These are unpaid internships for college credit with opportunities for post internship employment!
TIME COMMITMENT
More than likely, you’ll be required through your school to receive school credit for the internship, which will determine the number of hours you’ll need to work each week (approx. 10-15).
AVAILABLE ROLES + RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Intern
Assist with social media growth strategies
Assist with community management: IG + FB
Daily engagement on multiple accounts
Misc content creation needs
Marketing Intern
SEO optimization of website + blogs
Turning pre existing content into blogs
Coordinating guest blog posts
Turning blogs + other content into pinterest posts
Pitching Powerhouse Women blogs to other websites
Misc Marketing Initiatives
Business Management Intern
Podcast outreach + pitching
Call Recording + uploading
Membership cancellation + email management
Misc Operations + Admin Tasks: Sending contracts, misc emails, scheduling, thank you gifts
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Vary by role but overall we are looking for the following
- Marketing, Business, and/or Communications major, or similar degree field
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including: Facebook, Instagram (& related tools), Twitter, Pinterest (& related tools), WordPress, and Dropbox
- Passion for social media and on top of current social media best practices and trends
- Detail-oriented
- Highly-organized
- Able to meet tight deadlines
- Self-starting, creative problem solver
